“Under Mars” (named after the god of war) is a site that’s intended to present snapshots taken by military personnel around the world (mostly in Iraq though). The site is apolitical and is not intended to make a specific political purpose or espouse a specific view on war. It’s goal is to offer an uncensored view through the eyes of people who were there to offer some insight into the experience.

This site is a project of Shannon Larratt, with the content being anonymously contributed by hundreds of people without whose support the site could not exist. Finally, it’s OK by me if these photos are used on other sites, but a linkback is always appreciated.
